In netball we aspire to be skilful, committed, dedicated, resilient players individually and as a team. We will play fairly but competitively to gain and increase our knowledge in netball. “Train hard, play hard”.

Kia ora keen netballers, it’s great to kick start another challenging and successful season of netball with our muster/day camp for both Juniors (Saturdays) and Seniors (Sundays plus invited Juniors only to trial for Premier teams).

The planning behind the scenes ensured a smooth weekend for our netballers to enjoy and show off their talents. I take this moment to thank the Committee for their dedication to our netball programme. I would also like to thank the many people who supported the weekend, especially our student helpers (Jade, Jenna, Paige), our umpires, coaches, selectors, guest speakers, PTFA, Sr Raewyn, Whaea Gina and our Principal Catherine Gunn. All netballers collaborated in setting our netball vision [above] and it was pleasing to see their enthusiasm, ideas and thought process that went into developing a strong statement, which was awesome.

We have now successfully placed approximately 170 netballers into their teams into the Hamilton City Netball Competition (we also have one team out at rural, namely Morrinsville) and we are always keen to have support from parents and students to coach, manage and umpire. If you would like to support or contribute in some way, please contact myself or Mona (Netball Committee Secretary).

– UNISS will be held. I invite you to support our Premier Netball Team at this awesome event.

– Team Mentors are there to support and assist you. They are your number one supporter and are at Minogue Park most Saturdays to be available for you.

More information will be posted on our netball website to keep you updated with all netball events.

– The Netball Committee are dedicated volunteers passionate in working with our young women to sustaining a robust successful player-centred netball programme. Netball continues to be the most played sport in our school and it is only right that we dedicate time and effort to developing a player centred philosophy in the pursuit of excellence. We strive to provide quality player-centred coaching which maximises the potential of each player and progressively moulds that potential into competitive winning teams. If you would like to be involved and share your wisdom and knowledge, we would love to have your input. Our Information Booklet is attached for your information. Click link for Information Booklet.

I look forward to your enthusiasm and encouraging support at netball. Blessings and have an awesome season.
