Te Wā o te Aweneti – the Season of Advent – a time to grow deeper in hope – Pope Francis reminds us: ‘when we pray, God opens our eyes, renews and changes our hearts, heals our wounds and grants us the grace we need’.

And soon it will be time to wish you all a Blessed and Holy Christmas (but it’s still Advent!). The simple Christmas story tells of the birth of a first child to poor parents with an uncertain future. Despite having heard it many times over, its message is still captivating: God delights in creating profound wonders to reveal present and eternal love to the extent that: shepherds are amazed, wise men are humbled and a young woman treasures all these things in her heart. In the midst of the love, we are all invited, just like the people in the story, to trust that God is here and cares deeply, as each of us deals with the joys and sorrows and the hopes and disappointments of everyday life:

Mārie te pō, tapu te pō, (peaceful night, holy night)
Marino, marama, (calm and bright)
Ko te Whāea, me te Tama, (see the mother and the baby boy)
Tama tino, tapu rā, (the Son so holy there)
Moe mai i te aio, (sleeping peacefully)
Moe mai i te aio. (sleeping peacefully)
O Sacred Heart of Fount of Love, make us like you for evermore.

Ngā mihi o te Kirihimete me te Tau Hou

Payments online through Kindo

  • Payments online through Kindo

We are now using Kindo as our platform for all school payments, providing you with a simple and convenient way to manage your account. Once you have set up a MyKindo account, you can view and pay for school items, buy event tickets and school merchandise, as well as register and pay for sports fees, trips and camps etc.

Please note: there will be a “pay before you play” policy for all fees associated with sports and other activities that have a “user pay” component (such as camps and trips). We have adopted this policy so that families can make choices that support their financial situation.

To simplify things further, you can add funds regularly to your MyKindo Wallet. This allows you to plan ahead and avoid the stress of paying large amounts all at once. You can start adding to your Wallet when you create your account.

By the end of February, school charges and contributions for 2025 will be visible in your MyKindo account. You will notice that we have ‘itemised’ costs so you can see exactly where your contribution is going. For example, Catholic Character, House Activities and Retreats.
