SHGC are involved in the Waikato Secondary schools Volleyball competition for Juniors in Term 3 and 4 and Seniors in Term 1. There is approximate 4-6 Junior teams and 4 Senior Teams each year.

Well Done!

The seniors played at the start of this year, growth in the game showed again as SHGC entering 4 teams which also had a common theme as the competition had a record number again of 40 teams. It was a hard start due to the comp starting the first week of term 1 so none of the teams had practiced together. All teams improved week by week which was great to see. The SHGC Premier team played in Division 1 for the first time and played well coming 7th which was a great result.

Uniform
SHGC  numbered Singlet (issued to players from the Sports Office) and black shorts.

Fees
Depending on the Term and Format. Approx $70.00 per player.

Teams                                  Teams are made up of around eight girls

Venue                                  The Peak, Rotatuna High School

Games
Junior Volleyball is played Term 3 & 4  on a Thursday from 4.40pm and last game at 8.40pm.
Senior Volleyball is played Term 1 on a Saturday.
