Welcome, future students! Founded in 1884, Sacred Heart Girls’ College, in Hamilton, New Zealand, is an all-girls high school of special character.

The International Team

We are a team dedicated to supporting and caring for our international students. We love getting to know our students and do our utmost to ensure each student gets the most out of her time here with us.

Collette Tuioti is the Director of International Students. She has a background in administration and child health. As the mother of two daughters who attended our College, she is passionate about the ethos and values of Sacred Heart Girls’ College.

Lisa Cowen is our Homestay Co-ordinator. She has a daughter who attends Sacred Heart, and another daughter who cant wait to get here!  Lisa has a background in catering, wedding planning and is wonderful at anything that requires an artistic touch.

Monica van Oostrom is the team’s administrator.  She is an alumni of the school, and has always worked in the Education sector. She enjoys reading and gardening.

Rachel Brandt is our English language tutor. She recently returned from teaching English in France and is enjoying her new role at Sacred Heart.
