Uniform Requirements & Pricelist
School Uniform
A formal uniform is to be worn throughout the year. Sandals are an option.
The uniform comprises:
- Blazer: The blazer is a compulsory part of the school uniform. It must be worn to and from school.
- Blouse: Regulation white school blouse.
- Skirt: Regulation skirt for Years 9-12, black skirt for Year 13. Skirts should be knee-length.
- Pantyhose: black pantyhose/woollen tights with feet.
- Shoes: (All Terms): Black leather, sturdy, polishable, low-heel, below-the-ankle-height shoes. Shoes can be laced or Mary Jane style. Shoes are to be clean and tidy and in good repair. Shoes can only be worn with black pantyhose – socks are not permitted.
- Or Sandals (All Terms): Black Roman sandals and Birkenstocks Milano (with a back-strap) may be worn, NO other type of Birkenstock may be worn. Socks are not permitted.
- Tie: Year 13 only. Regulation school tie.
Optional
- Jersey: Regulation jersey – maroon with school monogram.
- Scarf: The school scarf is the only scarf permitted. Scarves must not be worn in class.
PE Uniform
The Physical Education uniform comprises:
- Top: A reversible PE/House top (when a House is assigned, this can be purchased).
The maroon top is being phased out. - Shorts: Black SHGC PE shorts.
- Students must wear appropriate sports footwear at all times.

Name Labelling
NZ Uniform can attach your name to your uniform items for $4 per label while you wait. They are guaranteed to last.
Appearance
- Hair:
Long hair is to be tied back neatly in a ponytail, plait or bun. Hair must be of a natural colour. - Jewellery:
Only a wristwatch, a discreet chain with a medal, a cross or a taonga, one pair of plain gold or silver studs or small sleepers (worn in the lower ear lobe), are permitted. No other facial piercings are allowed. Confiscated jewellery can be collected from the Student Centre at the end of each school term. - Makeup:
Make-up is not to be visible, it is to be natural-looking and not prominent, this includes false eyelashes.
No nail polish is allowed on fingernails or toenails.
Other
Undergarments: Garments should not show above the shirt neckline or extend past the hem of the sleeve or bodice.
Uniform Return: Now that your daughter has finished her studies here, would you like to donate her unwanted uniform to the college? If so, please drop off the uniform at the main reception (between 8:30 am and 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday). Your donation will be gratefully received.
Sale of Items: We have a limited selection of second-hand uniforms available. Please visit the main administration building where the second-hand uniforms are located. The PTFA welcomes Koha for any items you require for a student.
Uniform Day Pass: When a student is not able to wear the correct uniform, they are to obtain a Uniform Day Pass from their CCM Companion. A note from a parent/caregiver is required, explaining the reason for the incorrect uniform. An Extended Pass may be given when a student is not able to wear the correct uniform for several days (eg. a replacement item is required).
