My name is Joe Hinds and I am a Sports Coordinator at Sacred Heart. Originally from Wales in the UK, I moved to New Zealand in 2017 to follow my passion in sport. I played Football in the League of Wales and began my coaching journey 19 years ago, working with Junior and Youth players. Most recently, I was a Regional Manager for a Football Academy and now I am the Head Coach of Hamilton Wanderers in the Men’s Northern Premier League.

I love sport. A strong background in Football especially but Rugby, Cricket, Boxing and pretty much any sport available, I’ll try. I believe sport gives you freedom to express yourself and helps physical and mental health. Developing good communication, teamwork and discipline result from sports participation along with a commitment and having plenty of fun. I am passionate about helping and supporting our students so they have a positive sports experience.
