Step 1: Please read our Student Enrolment Policy
Our full Student Enrolment Policy (Board of Trustees) will give you a clear guideline that determines specific criteria around preference of enrolment.
Step 2: Prepare documents
Ensure you have the following documents (as a scanned file or photo) ready to upload before completing the application.
- Student’s Birth Certificate or Passport.
- Preference Certificate (if applicable – this is obtained from your local Parish)
- Relevant Visa evidence if your child was born overseas.
When saving the attachments, please name each file in the following format:
your child’s last name_type of document eg. Smith_Passport.
Step 3: Complete the application form
Complete all sections of the enrolment application.
To save your application and return to it later:
- Complete all the “Required Fields”.
- Scroll to the bottom of the form and select “Remember me on this Computer”.
- To continue your application, use the same computer and browser, and choose “Update Existing Application”.
Step 4: Upload documentation
Please do not submit your application until all the required documents are ready to upload.
Step 5: Submit the application
We will confirm receipt of your Application.
A reminder that applications closed Friday, 5th July, 2024.
Late enrolments may be placed on a waitlist.
Step 6: Enrolment advice
You will be contacted by Friday, 27th September 2024, to advise if your application has been successful.
If your application is unsuccessful, we will advise whether you are eligible to place your daughter on our waitlist. If a place becomes available, consideration remains as per our Student Enrolment Policy. You will be advised accordingly.
Step 7: Transition
The transition process includes:
- A face-to-face meeting with whānau to get to know you better.
Before the meeting, please read our Conditions of Enrolment Policies. - An Information Evening.
- Experience Sacred Heart Day.
- Learning support meetings as required.
Each step of the transition process reminds students and their whānau of our expectations around Catholic Character, learning, uniforms, behaviour and attendance. Before enrolling, please ensure you are familiar with our Standards and Expectations.
