Sacred Heart Girls’ College has a long history and an outstanding reputation for providing quality Catholic education: faith-filled, aspirational and challenging. We aim to continue to nurture a culture of learning and well-being through a contemporary, inclusive, holistic framework, underpinned by Gospel values. The virtues of Faith, Hope and Justice focus our attention and intention on how we live out the legacy of Euphrasie Barbier and the Mission Charism: Communion, Contemplation and Mission.

Poipoia te kākano kia puāwai / Nurture the seed and it will blossom

Our high expectations extend to all aspects of College life. We believe ākonga (students) have great potential, with skills and talents to share, develop and contribute to the school and the wider community. We expect ākonga to engage fully with all learning activities and opportunities in a culture of manaakitanga, whanaungatanga and whakamana.

We invite you to learn more about us, and our culture of care, where the formation of virtues, values, scholarship and service is at the Heart of what we do. We look forward to welcoming your whānau into our community.
