The week concluded in a beautiful Thanksgiving Mass, where Father Darren delivered a powerful homily: "Make the Gospel your algorithm." His words reminded our young women to let their faith guide their choices and actions as they step forward into the next chapter of their lives.
As we said our goodbyes, there were plenty of tears shed, but even more pride in all that our Year 13s have achieved during their time with us. They have grown into confident, compassionate young women who embody our school values every day.
Now it’s time for them to focus on the task at hand: their final NCEA examinations. We encourage them to Pay Attention – Age Quod Agis – and give these last few weeks their very best effort. We know they are more than ready, and we’re sending all our support and best wishes as they tackle their exams.
We look forward to celebrating with our Year 13s once again at our whole-school Prizegiving on Friday, December 5th at 9am - a special occasion to honour their achievements and contributions to our Sacred Heart community.
Kia kaha. You’ve got this!
