Congratulations to Amelia Crouch and Lyric Aish-Brough, who participated in the NISS Water Polo Championships in Auckland as part of the mixed team with St John’s College. Their combined skill and teamwork earned them the bronze medal in the Division 1 Mixed Grade – an outstanding achievement!
Equestrian – Pegasus Cup
Our Equestrian Team showcased their talents at the prestigious Pegasus Cup, hosted at the world-class Takapoto Estate. Over two intensive days, our four riders – Issie Kavanagh, Amelia Johnson, Olivia Watson, and Mackenzy Clarkson – demonstrated exceptional horsemanship across various challenging events.
In the 2 Phase Art competition, Olivia competed in the 90cm class, securing a commendable 10th place finish. The Equitation Class saw impressive callbacks for both Issie, who placed 4th, and Mackenzy, who finished 7th. In the Accumulator event, where points are awarded per jump plus a bonus for clearing the extra-large “Joker” jump, Issie performed admirably, clearing the Joker and finishing 6th overall.
Against strong competition from across the country, our equestrian team secured 28th place out of 51 teams – a result that reflects their dedication and skill in this demanding sport.
