Congratulations to the recipients of our Catholic Character Scholarships 2022, awarded to senior students. It provides financial support for the winner(s) to attend a Catholic Character event.
(From left) Avalldamarie Godinet, travelled to the Cook Islands during the holidays for the Future Leaders Academy/Pacific Student Leaders Programme. She succeeded in improving her skills in leadership, relationships and teamwork and has made long-term friends. “ I couldn’t lead others if I didn’t know how to lead myself first!”
Rose Abbott will travel to New Caledonia to attend the Future Leaders Academy/Pacific, with her trip being deferred until April 2023. She is excited about the prospect and looking forward to meeting with like-minded people and learning and sharing valuable ideas. We’ll look forward to chatting Rose on her return!
In July, Rowena Saini attended NZ Model United Nations Youth event, at Victoria University. She felt privileged to participate in the 3-day event with its theme ‘Unprecedented’ – how to promote unity while dealing with unprecedented global challenges. Rowena was able to interact and share ideas as a delegate of Indonesia. “I feel very blessed to have had this opportunity, and I am looking forward to my future endeavours within United Nations Youth, Aotearoa."
