Ko ti piko o te māhuri tērā te tupu o te rākau / The way in which the young sapling is nurtured determines how the tree will grow

At Sacred Heart Girls’ College, we believe success comes in achieving personal goals that align with individual aspirations, cultural identity, values and life purpose. Every student should have an adult at Sacred Heart who knows her well, can get to know her whānau, and will support her to achieve her goals. Mentoring is a powerful way for our learners to move toward achieving their goals.

Our Ako programme has been designed to promote learning and well-being, also providing the time for relationship building and ongoing communication and mentoring.
