Non-Preference Enrolment

Non-preference students are those who don’t have a connection to the Catholic faith.

As determined by the Integration Agreement 1980, our school can only offer a maximum of 36 non-preference places to students. If non-preference places are available, the selection criteria will be taken into consideration. When the school’s maximum roll is reached (925), non-preference enrolments will not be considered ahead of preference students on the waitlist.

Non-Preference Criteria

  • Non-preference students who attend our Contributing Catholic Feeder Schools.
  • Siblings of current students attending in Years 9 – 12.
  • Children of current staff members.
  • Non-preference students who live within reasonable distance to the school.

The Principal will determine the selection for enrolment of non-preference students.

Our full Enrolment Policy (Board of Trustees) will give you a clear guideline that determines specific criteria around preference of enrolment. This can be found here.

Important Notes

  • Participation in the general school programme that gives the school its Catholic Character is a condition of enrolment.
  • If your non-preference enrolment is unsuccessful, there is no waitlist option.
