Physical Education and Health
This subject is core to personal well-being and understanding health, nutrition, relationships and decision-making issues.
The focus on Physical Education and Health is the well-being of the students themselves, of other people, and of society through learning in health-related and movement contexts. Education Outside The Classroom (EOTC) forms an extension of this study.
Students are encouraged to take responsibility and critical action to promote individual well-being and healthy communities. As they develop resilience and a sense of personal and social responsibility, they are increasingly able to take responsibility for themselves and contribute to the well-being of those around them, their communities, their environments (including natural environments), and the wider society.
The subject includes the study of physical movement, exercise and interpersonal skills, and participation in physical activities.
