SHGC enters teams into the Waikato Secondary School Girls’ A-Grade Competition during Term 4 and Term 1 each year.

Teams
Teams are made up of eight players for Waikato Secondary Schools Girls Competition for Term 4 and Term 1.

Venue
Vary throughout the Waikato region.

Games Summer Secondary School Competition Term 1 and Term 4
Games will start at 4pm sharp and end roughly around 6pm. Students will need their own transport to and from games.
Matches will be 20 overs per innings.
2-piece Kookaburra balls are to be used, 142 grams. Old balls may be used, however both coaches have to agree to this and the balls must be of a reasonable standard.

Uniform
Students are required to wear the SHGH White Cricket top and black PE shorts. The girls can bring their own glove if they have one and are required to wear shoes.
Cricket tops will be issued to players at the beginning of each season and returned after the last game.

Fees
The fee for each player to play in the Secondary School competition is $30.00 per player for Term 1 2020. Fees are not refundable.
